Including US Special Operations Response Team
[edit]I'm seconding adding SORTs (Special Operations Response Team) to the list. The unmarked units are now identified as SORTs but operate outside their initial purpose, effectively making them a secret police. The wiki definition is:
intelligence, security or police agencies that engage in covert operations against a government's political opponents and dissidents. Secret police organizations are characteristic of authoritarian and totalitarian regimes. Used to protect the political power of an individual dictator or an authoritarian regime, secret police often operate outside the law and are used to repress dissidents and weaken the political opposition, frequently with violence."
- they violate the constitution
- they are not identified by name, rank or ID
- they respond with violence
- they kidnap people
- and finally the president himself acknowledged it as a tool for political oppression
"Well, it depends on what your definition of “troops” is. I mean, we’re sending law enforcement. Portland was totally out of control. The Democrats — the liberal Democrats running the place had no idea what they were doing. They were ripping down — for 51 days, ripping down that city, destroying the city, looting it. The level of corruption and what was going on there is incredible. And then the governor comes out: “We don’t need any help.”
How about Chicago? I read the numbers were many people killed over the weekend. We’re looking at Chicago too. We’re looking at New York. Look at what’s going on. All run by Democrats, all run by very liberal Democrats. All run, really, by radical left."

I understand it's controversial but it's pretty much the textbook definition of a secret police.

You should add Romania's SRI.

Why is the FBI not on this list?
[edit]They have been involved in running covert ops against the American left for a long time and employ heavy use of confidential informants against activists in the environmental, pacifist, labor, Black rights, and similar movements.

Move Office 610?
[edit]According to the Office 610's Wikipedia page they were disbanded in 2018. Shouldn't they be moved to the Historical or otherwise removed from this one? LeftArchive (talk) 22:08, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
Canada has secret police but I don't see it on the list of countries that acknowledges that they have secret police
[edit]there's about 40 lawyers getting paid by the Canadian government to hide the fact that there are secret police in operation between the healthcare and the justice department whose jobs they think it is to dissolve anyone who could have a complaint about there quality and service and so their control manager, and all their lawyers are trying to prevent the victim, in this case me, from having any legal recourses for them having brutalized the same way that they have been doing so for years while the protector of citizens says that they don't see anything wrong because a doctor who was bribed said not to listen to the victim and so others said they didn't see evidence and the bribed doctor said they didn't see evidence. I wonder if the secret police in Quebec Canada where I am have a file that says that's how they've been working and that's the way it is when one does something the other one says it's okay to not look at it and so the person whose job it is to look at it to make sure it never happens again, says that's an easy way out of having to improve anything and it certainly means they don't have to admit to anything and so then the 10-year wheel of torture while the victim has called the places that the supposed doctor had said to call, is something that that doctor knew very well, he had for years been acting in compliance and with complicity and with some entertainment that he had in watching the victims, been helping the secret police. When you do a complaint about somebody in that kind of a job, even if a doctor tells you to, that means you learn a lot. Especially when twelve different organizations ignore the secret police agent that was written about. Child protection services told me to do something about that particular intervener because he was laughing about what a convicted kidnapper was doing to her children and to the community that she started assaulting right after she moved in because they noticed that she was abusive to her children. She also noticed that her children could smile at people and not at her because children don't smile the same to their parent when their parent is a convicted kidnapper who previously had abused them. Kids remember things like that and so a jealous convicted kidnapper, witnessed secret police not doing their job properly, and then they were all hiding the evidence of her assaulting her children and then others children and her vehicularly assaulting a few people along the way seemed like something that they could hide. Secret police abduct and drug people against their will to try and keep the fact that they're secret police a secret. They dress up in an ambulance costumes to try and prevent people from knowing that too and that's illegal. So how do we get the Canadian government and Canada on the list of the people who have secret police ? I heard about the buildings that Julian Assange had talked about. I wonder if Canada is supposed to be on the list of countries that have buildings like that and people who can't talk about it because they're in buildings like that. It's scary when you find out that there's secret police and when they got involved, 16 people had to move because the landlord felt he had no other choice other than to sell the triplexes that he had built, because somebody who works as a secret police went to him and didn't tell him he was secret police and did not tell him all of the truth and so the landlord knowing that he had accidentally rented to a convicted kidnapper, and was trying to do legal recourses to get rid of her, the secret police didn't want it known that she had witnessed the police not doing her job properly and so 16 people had to move and that seems to be the only thing that that guy cared about. I wrote about what he left behind before I even knew that there was a psychology today right up titled psychopaths in the workplace and what they leave behind. I'm pretty sure that he's been thinking about what he left behind although his boss said that she threw out what I had sent regarding his conduct that was grossly misconducting so much so that 19 people wrote letters and he ordered other people to ignore them all. A secret police agent ordered a police department and a psycho department to ignore vehicular assaultings and security videotapes that showed the convicted kidnapper stalking others in the middle of the night after she had left her children and young child at home without a phone. Child protection services were really concerned about what was happening there and the secret police were hiding what was happening. Anybody got any ideas on how we can tell the people that I exist because I went missing from three of their computers after they had written more than a dozen conclusions saying that they couldn't see anything wrong with drugging somebody into an imminent death situation and having to replenish their cardiac needles but not writing about it on their inventory paperwork. I'd love to talk to anybody about this who knows how to fix any of it. Thank you. 173.176.93.212 (talk) 16:47, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
